Congratulations to all!

I would suggest that you make the source code downloads available from the same page as the binary.

I would also suggest making the rest of the GPLed code available there too. Perhaps it would be most convenient for you if all the source code were in one tar ball.

I realize that the suit was just about BusyBox but even on this thread we've seen that there are other copyright holders making noises.

My first goal is to make the GPL code available "somewhere" on our web site. I can control the direct download links that I put on the Forum, but have to go through the people who do our web stuff to get official myhava.com links etc. So it is going to be a 2-step process and will become more official looking as time goes on.

Do appreciate your suggestions, will take them into consideration. Any specific copyright holders with concerns are asked kindly to contact me via PM or e-mail from the Forum.

Thanks!
Best regards,

Can you tell me where to download current GPLed code?

The link to the (outdated by now?) version of the BusyBox source still works. I cannot open the FTP directory containing it or the one above that. Where do you release GPLed code?

[added after a little more searching]

The GPL source dump is announced here http://myhava.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1650

It would seem that making the directories readable would help folks find this and any other GPL source releases. For example, the OS/X SDK source (coming soon?).

A more prominent announcements would be good. I shouldn't have to search the forum for "GPL" to find it.

The file name is misleading if, in fact, this file functions as the GPL source dump for releases other than 1.7.4.
